Octodad: Dadliest Catch is an independent adventure video game developed and published by Young Horses. It is a sequel to the 2010 freeware game Octodad. The game consists of controlling the protagonist Octodad in completing chores typical of the mundane suburban father, but complicated by the fact that he is an octopus in disguise. With Tom Taylorson, Ann Sonneville, Fryda Wolff. A video game about an Octopus who falls in love and starts a family. His human family, however, does not know that he is an Octopus and he must attempt to blend in. Octodad: Dadliest Catch, originally titled Octodad 2, is the sequel to the original Octodad. The game was developed by the studio Young Horses. The game was released on Steam in early 2014 This time, our cephaloprotagonist has gotten himself in a bind between his wife’s mounting mistrust, and a disastrous trip to the local aquarium! Are you dad enough to control the titular octopus father as.
Octodad is a third person adventure game about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about a day of his life. His existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodan nature a secret from his human family.
The player controls Octodad like a marionette, dragging his arms and legs around while his body flops along. The player’s goals are often simple household chores made difficult and interesting by the flailing, tenuous control they have over Octodad’s body.
Being an octopus also has its strengths. Octodad can slip through tight spaces, grab objects with his suckers, and knock things around with tremendous strength. But if the player does things too out-of-the-ordinary, Octodad’s family will grow suspicious and realize what he really is. If they do, it’s game over for Octodad!

If you done your research its actually not. This is the ORIGINAL when the Creator was still a student. He then released the original project from back in his student days.

Octodad is a must play game if you wanna alot of fun. Not only is the controll unique in itself. But the game has a good story behind it. This is the funniest student project I ever played and they improved so much on everything later for the game Octodad: Dadliest Catch.
The best part is that this student project is still free so all of us can enjoy it. Definitely a game everyone should try.

I have played the sequal on my Wii-U, but time to rage with harder controls on the Macbook Pro.
I used a mouse but it wasn't any harder than the wii u version.
